I briefly re-befriended Kittydog in 2024 while I was grappling with trauma I faced from her when I was about 12 years old. (What happened doesn't matter right now but it was relatively "mild" compared to what other people have experienced from her). We were not extremely close friends, I had only talked with her a couple of times during 2024 (mainly when she was working on her "Concise Accountability" document and video) and sent her one or two Discord messages in early 2025 before I cut her off. I posted a public collab, we had also commissioned each other, and I defended her on one of my personal accounts. I now deeply regret these actions.I had personally chose to forgive her for what she had shown me at that age (and still do forgive her for this), but I realize now that other people's experiences should've been properly acknowledged by me. I felt incredibly sympathetic for her experiences as a CSA and grooming victim, but ended up neglecting other people who ended up hurt or traumatized by her.While I do believe in change and think that she genuinely regrets the acts she committed as a child and teen, I believe the mass amounts of pain she inflicted on other people online should have led to her relinquishing the platform that led her to harm others in the first place. Nowadays I feel uncomfortable around her and wish I had never collabed with her.(This is not the reason why I left the internet, I just felt that it should have been acknowledged especially since our collab shows up when you Google me. I also apologize if this statement is not the best, it may be updated later as I navigate this part of my life in therapy.)
